Welcome to Kiskovász
(Little Sourdough), which is not only a place to stay,
but it can also be the venue of cultural, community or gastronomic events.
House
Our guesthouse is 75 sqm, two large bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a utility room/pantry.
We can host max. 6 guests.
Our house is child and pet-friendly.
Gastronomy
Occasionally we organise gastronomic events, such as sourdough bread workshops, Italian pasta or pizza dinners, or open-fire cooking.
garden
Our garden includes 400 lavender shrubs, a permaculture vegetable garden, raspberry, sea buckthorn, fruit, walnut, pine and other trees, grass land, and a small grove.
A part of our yard is still under construction.
Kiskovász is a pet friendly place. Bring your beloved pets and enjoy the county lifestyle!
Style
We were keen on create an authentic style with our own taste including some Scandinavian elements.
Envirement
We pay great attention to the environment. Garbage is collected separately, we recycle as much as we can, and live in a frugal and sustainable way.
Renovation
The house has been renovating since 2021 spring.
We have taking care to use natural materials and the protection of the environment, we respect the past and history of this 200 year-old house.
Nature
There are lots of old trees on the plot, which were intentionally left alive to be able to provide home for many birds.
The garden is insect friendly, with lots of pollinating insects, especially in the lavender field.
We do not use any chemicals or poisoning materials in the garden or the house.
